A Review of Orient Beach

Orient Beach is a beautiful, comfortable beach, and given the chance, I would visit it again, any time. As we reached the end of Club Orient, I, again, noticed, everybody a few feet up ahead, was wearing clothes. The entire length of Orient Beach is clothing optional, and many women go topless. But there are fewer sightings of sunworshippers sans Speedos the farther north you are of Club Orient. But, if you can get past this, Orient Beach is a wonderful excursion to spend a morning or afternoon.

It is NOT a nudist resort but topless sunbathing is possible and Orient Beach is steps away. The Astrolab restaurant is beautifully appointed and the grounds are well maintained. Orient beach is surrounded by a Marine Park, so you will enjoy the beauty of the site. You may cross sea turtle, ray or dolphins on your way. Orient Beach is divided unofficially into clothing optional and non-clothing optional. However, topfree bathing is common in both areas, obviously more so near Club Orient.

Orient Beach is the best serviced and most popular beach of St. It is the best place to go for all kinds of water sports activities, beach bars and restaurants. Orient Beach is beautiful, busy, and sometimes almost chaotic. The worst thing about it is that cruise ships dump hundreds of people onto the beach for the day. Orient Beach is a long way from populated areas. Just to be sure, however, the beach and entire Club O grounds are discretely watched over day and night by security personnel.

Orient Beach is the clothing optional beach. It is gifted with nature bounty and man-made creation. Orient Beach is considered a marine reserve, so for those that enjoy snorkeling, the underwater scenery is breathtaking. If water sports are not your cup of tea, there are shops, bars, and restaurants available for your enjoyment and relaxation. But, if you can get past this, Orient Beach is a wonderful excursion to spend a morning or afternoon.

Kakao Beach , Bikini Beach , and others at the northern end all have fine restaurants and snack bars for lighter fare, but also beach chairs, umbrellas, beach boys, boutiques, massage stations, and more. Just a bit further along the beach is Kokomarina , Pirate Beach Bar , and the rest of the smaller establishments. The clothing-optional area to the south still has plenty of sand, and even more people, and the area north of Paradisio, up through Kakao, Kontiki, and Bikini is fine. Kakao beach gives you a take away Styrofoam container and plastic glasses. Although the food was very good, we preferred Waikiki.

Jet skiing, parasailing and windsurfing, snorkeling, water skiing, deep sea fishing, horse back riding, day trips to other Caribbean islands are all within walking distance from Villa Mediterranee. Martin’s economy has been a duty-free port for over fifty years and thousands of cruise ship passengers descend on St. A morning activity like scuba diving, snorkeling or canopy tour then coming back to the villa to relax may be a high priority for you.You also need to consider how close the vacation rental is to the airport. It is very important to know how far the rental is from your arrival airport. Deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, scuba-diving, horseback riding and golf are popular options on the island. Several casino’s are located about the isle, and there many restaurants serving a variety of international cuisine.
